Blankets

These beautiful blankets will be donated to local homeless shelters and nursing homes, or to charities that will deliver them to refugee camps worldwide.

Materials

• 1 yard, 1.5 yards, or 2 yards of fleece fabric

  • Must be new, unwashed, unused fabric

  • Plain or patterns (please do not use patterns with written words, weapons, camouflage, superheroes, or sports)

• Masking tape

• Fabric shears

Instructions

1. Cut off selvages (rough edges on both sides).

2. Cut out a 6” square out of each corner.

3. Tape cutting guide along each side.

4. Cut 1” strips (two finger-widths) up to masking tape.

5. Tie each strip into a single knot.

6. Remove masking tape.
