Instructions
1. Print pattern, tape pages together and cut around the outline
2. Place pattern on the WRONG side of the flannel
3. Trace a solid line around the pattern using the water soluble pen. Trace a dotted line about ΒΌβ around the solid line for a cutting guide (this will leave a quarter inch seam allowance)
4. Cut along THE DOTTED LINE.
5. Tape the pattern to a widow or a light box.
6. Tape the cut flannel bear right-side facing you over the bear to see the face. Trace face with water-soluble pen.
7. Put an embroidery hoop over the face to make it tight.
8. Thread a needle with two or three strands of embroidery floss, tie a knot in the end of the thread, and begin stitching the eyes with a satin stitch. Here is an Embroidery Stitching Guide
9. Cut a nose out of black felt and sew SECURELY ON with black floss. If not sewn properly, it can be a choking hazard for the little child who might pull it off.
